Aiden, 9 years old, has been a student of S.A.M Singapore Math Marikina for 12 months until now that there is a transition from face to face learning to online learning. Mommy Grace, Aiden’s mother, is especially appreciative of how Teacher Claire makes every session enjoyable for her son.
“I like that Teacher Claire finds different methods to make the sessions interesting for Aiden. I like that she uses the block model to illustrate the problem. She also uses games to make it more fun. Aiden always tells me how much fun he had after the session.” according to Mommy Grace.
Prior to his enrolment in S.A.M Singapore Math, Aiden is already doing well in Math. However, one time he became very frustrated with a topic because he did not understand the concept. Mommy Grace learned about S.A.M through another parent and decided to enroll him.
“I want him to have that skill advantage for his future.”. Mommy Grace said. S.A.M Singapore Math helped Aiden learn and understand concepts, instead of memorizing rules and formula.
Mommy Grace also noticed some improvements in Aiden’s confidence ever since he was enrolled in S.A.M.
“He can now answer Math problems independently. He is now very analytical in answering math questions and can do mental calculations with ease. Other than his Math skills, he became responsible for completing his worksheets. He independently allocates time to complete his task before his next session.” Mommy Grace attests.
She also noticed that he improved his critical thinking. In fact, Aiden even helps with his mom’s daily problems, gives unsolicited advice, and ends his statement with “It’s easy”.
